Overall pleased with my 30,000 mile service at Hughes Honda! Did not have to wait for my vehicle to be serviced but I feel as a customer when I observed a potential warranty issue with my car, that I should be taken seriously! I had explained to the service advisor about a stain on the top my transmission case where it is sealed at the factory and that I wanted to have that looked at. When my service was completed I was notified that the technician said that was just Mud underneath! I explained to the service advisor That I would be more than happy to show him what I was talking about on my car! Thankfully the technician came out as well and I pointed out to the technician what I had been referring to! This is where I become disappointed as a customer paying for a warranty on my car. The technician explained to me that stain was when the transmission was assembled and they use a little transmission fluid on the gasket and that just happened to push out during assembly at the plant! Unfortunately, for that mechanic-I am a mechanic too, and I have common sense to know when you assemble something at any manufacturing plant it is cleaned properly and it inspected and a car would not have rolled off the assembly line at Honda with that unacceptable stain. At least if you suspect a leak you could put die in the transmission to see if that guy comes through the case and address the SU to be repaired under warranty instead of give me the bogus excuse there is just from being assembled at the plant. I hope that people read and learn to do their best when they are working on any vehicle in their field of service !Thank you , David DiMaio
