I've now purchased 4 Hondas from Phil Hughes Honda in Warner Robins and this was by far my best experience yet. All have been good but Kyle Tubbs really made this is a smooth process. We communicated primarily by phone, at my request as I live out of town. He understood exactly what I was looking for and made sure they had the vehicle on the lot when I got to town. He was a top-notch professional and I would recommend him to anyone I know in the market for a Honda.
I had the best car buying experience ever! Acosta was very helpful and made it fun. I drove my last Honda for 14 years so I hope to get a long life from this car too.
I purchased a 2014 Honda Pilot from Hughes back in April. Overall, I have been pleased with the experience I have had at Hughes. Here is my quick review:Pros(1) Friendly and non-pushy staff => My salesperson, Kyle Tubbs, worked with us over a year on the purchase. He never rushed our decision and was always agreeable to work with and a great communicator throughout the process. I highly recommend Kyle. He is the reason I went with Hughes.(2) Delivery of my vehicle was quick. I went in and within an hour was out the door. This is the fastest car buying experience I have ever hadCons:(1) the biggest draw back for Hughes is their pushing of dealer protection packages that amount to nearly 2000 dollars. I absolutely abhor dealers forcing add-ons to the price of the car. Fortunately, I was able to negotiate on the pricing of these as it could have been a deal breaker. If you are quoted a price, please note, these 2000 in fees will be added to that. Hughes, honestly, my advice, drop this. If people want the protection packages, sell them to them. However, it should not be a requirement in the final purchase. It is the reason I could not give 5 stars to the sales process. On a final note, I did want to provide additional comments on my Pilot. This is not really factored into my rating on the dealership. However, if my service experience goes poorly, I may provide a separate rating for that. My Pilot has had some build quality issues. So far, I have had a loud popping from the sunvisors when closing either the driver or the passenger side visor. This is has not been resolved, and it appears that some pilots on the lot make the noise while others do not. If you are noise sensitive, check this on your test drive. In addition, two items I am addressing this week are around the second row seat. The recline lever broke off and a piece of plastic under the seat came loose. None of these items are huge, but I have owned several Hondas. This is the first time I have had a Honda exhibit poor build quality.
Sales experienceI came into Hughes Honda last week attempting to purchasing a vehicle. I had a difficult situation due to a car accident, but the staff here were very cooperative, friendly and wanting to help me. I never heard the words "We cannot", I only heard "We will". I would like to thank Jamar Curry, Yainier Acosta, and Jose that works in the office for all their help. They went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me and my family in purchasing our next vehicle.
We just bought a 2014 civic and love it. I would have to say this was the best dealership we have ever been to. The salesmen were very nice and not pushy at all which is a change from what we have seen at other dealerships. Will come back to hughes honda when it comes around for another car
I just bought my third Honda Accord from Hughes Honda and my second from salesman Kyle Tubbs and I'll never regret it. I have bought many cars in the past and I usually leave the dealership with a bad taste in my mouth after having been pressured into buying more than I wanted with a payment that was more than I could afford and usually ending upside-down on the note. That has never been the case at Hughes Honda. Rather than pressuring me, Kyle lets me pick the model that I want, then T J Medina helps me find a way to fit that car into my budget. I never feel pressured to buy, they always help me to include the features that I really want (like shade vents and gap coverage) and I have never been upside down on the note because they only sell quality. After the sale, Kyle even meets me each time I come into the dealership to have my Accord serviced to see how the car is doing or if I need any help. I love my Service Advisor, Lauretta Smith and I'm always happy to see her and have my vehicle serviced at the dealership - on Saturdays, so I don't have to miss work. She never pressures me, just tells me what needs to be done and why, then lets me decide how much I want done on that visit. SO, if you want the best car on the road along with the best dealership, salesman and service advisor around - go to Hughes Honda and you will be as happy as I am.
